Sequential Undergraduate/Graduate Studies (SUGS): Allows current U-M students to complete an undergraduate and Master’s degree in five years.The program does not require a dual enrollment, though a minimum of two full terms (minimum of 9 hours each term) of graduate enrollment in Rackham only is required.

Doctorate degrees
You can apply to our PhD program with a master’s or just a bachelor’s degree. Our PhD students receive full funding, which includes a tuition waiver, monthly living stipend, and health insurance.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD): Full-time four- to five-year research-based program. Develops skills that apply to careers both inside and outside academia. We provide all PhD students with a tuition waiver, stipend and health insurance.
Doctor of Engineering in Manufacturing (DEng): Graduate professional degree for students who have already earned both a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in any engineering or business discipline.
