Faculty

Leading by Example
We’ve made strides in increasing diversity among faculty and leadership, but we still have work to do. To ensure that women and underrepresented minorities aren’t overlooked in faculty recruiting and promotion, we’re ramping up our effort through faculty recruitment workshops and programs like ADVANCE and NextProf. Promoting diversity in STEM leadership benefits us all.

Our 14 Faculty DEI Department Leads are crucial to making each department as inclusive and diverse as possible.
Our goal is to have at least 50% or more of all departments participate in diversity related workshops.
With just 6% of our faculty made up of scholars from underrepresented groups,
we're recruiting to improve diversity and excellence.
