Prospective graduate students
U-M’s Engineering Graduate symposium is a great way to see the campus, tour departments and labs and learn about graduate research in the College of Engineering. The symposium is typically held in November. Travel grants are available for some prospective engineering PhD students residing in the US. Learn more about the symposium from the College of Engineering.
After considering application materials, NERS extends invitations to visit the department as our guests to highly-qualified domestic and international precandidate prospects living in the U.S. These visits typically take place in March. For more information see the graduate visiting page.
