How can I visit the engineering campus?
Tours
We offer Michigan Engineering North Campus Tour throughout the year for anyone considering our engineering program. Tours are posted on our Eventbrite page. (Parents are welcome!)

Campus Day Visits
If you’re accepted to Michigan Engineering, you will receive an invitation to come visit us on campus. There will be tours of both Central and North Campus, and learn about what to expect during your first-year.

How do I transfer to Michigan Engineering?
Transfer admissions are based on a holistic review process that considers, among other factors, progress and performance in a series of prerequisite courses taken at another college or university.
Using the Transfer Credit Equivalency Database, please ensure that your prerequisite coursework is directly equivalent to the U-M course, and not Departmental Credit

Looking for information about Transfer credit?
Whether it’s from dual enrollment, dual degrees or coming to us from another institution, the credits you’ve earned might apply to your degree or program with us. Our admissions and aid resources for transfer credits can help you see how your existing credits might apply.
Will I get credit for my AP, IB, and/or Dual Enrollment classes?
AP and IB credit may be granted based on test performance during the high school career. Dual Enrollment Credit may be granted based on our course equivalency guidelines. Make sure to discuss your AP exams with your advisor during orientation.

How do I schedule an in-person or virtual advising appointment?
The best way to schedule an advising appointment is to email [email protected] and briefly explain the purpose of the meeting. This helps us assign the appropriate recruiter to your meeting request. You can also call 734-647-7101.
