Give During COVID-19
Support students with a gift to the Engineering Student Emergency Fund
As the global coronavirus pandemic continues to impact communities nationwide, many Michigan Engineering students are finding themselves facing unanticipated financial needs. Learn how gifts to the Engineering Student Emergency Fund are making a difference. Together, we can help them. Every gift makes an impact.
How do engineers respond to a crisis? We are seeing that unfold every day now, as engineers work to tackle COVID-19 issues around personal protection equipment, monitoring the spread of the disease and ramping up efficiencies in hospitals.
For students the transition has had its own challenges – some of them as fundamental as paying rent despite a job loss or putting food on the table.
The Engineering Student Emergency Fund has helped students struggling to access reliable internet to finish their classes, pay upcoming bills after sudden job losses, or unexpectedly support family members. Many more students are still in need, and you can help us continue to support them.
“I am so thankful to have the College of Engineering to rely on in my time of need when I had nowhere else to go. This funding helped me get back on my feet and make sure I was succeeding academically while putting my mental stress at ease.”
