Check Application Status

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions processes all freshman applications to Michigan Engineering. Please don’t call to check application status. It will only slow us down.

Admissions Decisions

Regular Decision

Completed applications are reviewed in the order received. It normally takes approximately 6-8 weeks to receive an admissions decision. International applications may take considerably longer to review. You can check on the status of your application and admissions decision in Wolverine Access.

Regular Decision applicants will receive decisions by early April.

Early Action

Applicants can apply earlier in the admissions timeline—received by November 1 of senior year in high school—and receive a decision on admission earlier on in the process. The Early Action decision will be one of three: admit; defer for a final decision by early April; or deny.

Early Action decision release — no later than December 24.
