Take a Tour
Students who come to Michigan Engineering say they knew they were going to love it the minute they stepped onto campus. Come see what they’re talking about with a prospective student walking tour.
Michigan Engineering also offers Segway tours throughout the spring and summer, beginning in May. This unique experience will allow prospective students, families and alumni the opportunity to explore more of North Campus than is possible on a walking tour of the College.
Segway tour guests will participate in the Engineering Information Session, along with walking tour guests, at 2 p.m. At the conclusion of the Information Session, tour guests will be trained to ride Segways and then tour North Campus until 4:30 p.m.
Tour guests must be at least 14 years of age, must weigh between 100-260 pounds, and will be required to sign a waiver prior to participating in the Segway tour.
Group Walking Tours
Group walking tours are offered to school, team, or community groups. These tours incorporate a thorough introduction to Michigan Engineering. Although every attempt will be made to accommodate tours, a minimum of one week (7 days) is required for planning.
Please note that group walking tours are exclusively designed for larger tour groups and are not meant to accommodate individual families.
Central Campus Tours
Central Campus tours, scheduled through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, includes a one-hour information sessions followed by a 90-minute walking tour of central campus. On Mondays-Fridays, an information session starts at 10 a.m., followed by a student-led walking tour at 11 a.m. If you prefer an afternoon tour, the information session begins at 1 p.m., with the tour leaving at 2 p.m. Tours are also given on Saturdays, starting at 10 a.m. You can register for a Central Campus tour online at the University’s Admissions website.
