The University of Michigan Solar Car Team is a non-profit, student-run group dedicated to designing, building, testing and racing a solar-electric vehicle. The Team is composed of a cross-section of University students, including members from the Engineering, Art, Business, and LS&A schools. The Team has an almost ten-year history, with the previous four cars capturing two National Championships, as well as top ten finishes in both Sunrayce and World Solar Challenge.
