2003 Techniques

These pages are meant to be a tutorial for the Michigan Concrete Canoe about the methods by which a concrete canoe may be developed. Others are welcome to browse the site but many of the links and files will only work on computers logged onto the UM CAEN system (i.e. rhino, AutoCAD, Fastship, ABAQUS)

I have attempted to break down the creative process into a series of steps defined by the procedures and software used. This listing is by no means comprehensive nor is it the only way by which a quality design may be achieved.

  4. Finite Element Analysis - Developing methods for FEA on hull forms
