- Hear colleagues from U-M share their research regarding STEM workforce development and issues that play a role in student career choices, interest, achievement, retention, and persistence in the STEM disciplines
- Know more about successful intervention efforts and strategies that have been used to develop a diverse STEM workforce
- Be a leader in influencing policy that would allow U-M and the State of Michigan remain successful in this new knowledge-based economy
- Establish interdisciplinary connections to work collaboratively with others to explore these issues?
If so, please plan to attend the one-day summit: "Educating a STEM Workforce: New Strategies for U-M and the State of Michigan". The summit is to be held on Monday, May 21, from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Interested faculty and staff may participate in the summit at no cost, but attendance is limited to the first 40 faculty and staff who register. You may register to reserve your spot right here.
