The Marian Sarah Parker Scholars Program encourages high-achieving women in their junior year to consider pursuing graduate degrees. The selection is based on the student's academic achievement and the potential to continue their studies into graduate school. The program includes a series of workshops focused on graduate education with an academic internship opportunity.

Career Options with a Graduate Engineering Degree
Faculty and professionals from industry discuss their decisions to pursue graduate degrees in engineering and the opportunities open to them as a result of obtaining an advanced degree.
Going to Graduate School: What Every Undergraduate Needs to Know Before Applying
This program provides the student with everything they need to know about the graduate school application process, including funding, letters of recommendation, the GRE, what you need to know about a graduate department, and much more.
Academic Internship:
After Parker Scholars complete the workshop component, they are eligible for a paid internship with a faculty member in the College of Engineering to gain knowledge and information about graduate research.
