Academic Support

ELRC StudentThe Engineering Learning Resource Center (ELRC) is a one-stop shop for academic and career information, tutoring and counseling services, exam files, and other resources that enhance student academic and professional success. Students can:

  • work on state-of-the-art computers (with access to a laser printer).
  • read up on topics such as how to study, how to interview, and how to develop a mind-set for personal success.
  • get copies of the latest minority engineering magazines.
  • review posted announcements on jobs, educational conferences, College activities, meetings, and forums.
  • participate in Peer-Facilitated Study Groups-3-5 first- and second-year students led by an upper-level student tackle class problems and learn vital study and problem-solving skills in a systematic approach. Call 734-647-7120 to get into a group.
  • secure tutoring services - ELRC has upper-class students available for all first-year core courses.
