• Soap/Toiletries (and a plastic container to hold them)
• Swim gear (if desired)

• Hot Plates/Toaster Ovens/Oil Popcorn Poppers
• Pets
• Stereo
• Television
• Video game equipment (GameBoy, XBox,PlayStation, etc.)

Furnishings and Services:
All rooms in the University of Michigan residence halls are provided with basic furnishings and equipment for each resident including: a bed and bedding, closet space, a desk, adequate lighting, a chair, a wastepaper basket and draperies. Coin-operated machines for personal laundry are located in each building.

Food Service:
The standard meal contract at the University of Michigan includes lunch and dinner Sunday through Friday (dinner is not served on Saturdays). More specific information for each particular program will be provided upon enrollment.
