Welcome to the College of Engineering Mid-Term Course Evaluation Website.

Changes for Mid-Term Evaluations

Beginning in the Fall 2007 term students in CoE courses will be asked to provide mid-semester feedback for their teachers on the University's new online Teaching Questionnaires (TQs). In previous terms, the College provided its own website for mid-semester evaluations, but the College system will no longer be used.

The University's new online Teaching Questionnaires site will be rolled out to the entire University for all end-of-term evaluations beginning in Winter 2008. College of Engineering faculty and students will be pilot users of the new system for mid-semester evaluations in Fall 2007 and Winter 2008.

Process for Fall 2007

The invitations to fill out the questionnaires will go out in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 10, and students will have until the end of the day on Tuesday, October 16 to complete the questionnaires.

Student responses will then be tabulated, and copies of the results - both rating results and student comments - will be sent via email to CoE teachers. Student identifiers will be stripped from the listing of results so that teachers will not be able to link ratings or comments to specific individuals.

If you are teaching a CoE class this semester and you have not made a specific request to be excluded from this project, you will receive an email with a copy of your results after October 17. No one but you will receive a copy of the results from your class, and no copy of these mid-semester results will be retained at the University.
