Leadership
The College of Engineering offers many opportunities for student leaders to make a difference in their community, their profession and their campus.
Co-curricular leadership experiences benefit students by allowing them to develop skills different from those in the classroom. Studies have shown the importance of leadership opportunities in contributing to a well-rounded education. These opportunities, whether found in student government, student project teams, community service efforts or other areas, prepare students for facing real-life challenges in business, community and personal relationships.
One way you can make a difference is by joining a CoE Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC) focus group. These focus groups find ways to improve the graduate experience through advocacy and program development. Find out more about GSAC and its focus groups, and how you can become involved.
