Training for new Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs) is by invitation only from your department. If you have accepted a new GSI appointment for Fall 2008 you are REQUIRED to attend the all-day Teacher Training Program that is scheduled on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Francois-Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) Bldg. In addition to the training program on August 28, all new GSIs are REQUIRED to attend one of the Advanced Practice Teaching sessions with an active learning emphasis that are offered on the following days in the Chrysler Center:

Any new GSI who does not complete the training and one active learning practice teaching session will not be allowed to serve as a CoE GSI for Fall 2008. Register to attend Fall '08 GSI Training
