The Office of Graduate Education provides training for all new Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs) in the College of Engineering.  As a new GSI, you need to sign-up for GSI training through your department at the beginning of your first term of employment.  The GSI training programs are offered by the College of Engineering and the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching.  Each GSI will be assigned an Engineering GSI Mentor (EGSM), who will provide mentoring and support with any classroom issues.
