If you are faced with funding problems as a current graduate student, it will help to know where to look for new funds.  This section of the website is dedicated to educating you about different sources of funding.  For the most part, this is the path that is recommended for you to follow:

1. Start with your faculty advisor.  They usually have the most financial support available from research funds.
2. Go to your Graduate Chair.
3. Go to your Department Chair next.
4. The Center for the Education of Women has emergency funding available for any student, male or female.
5. As a last resort, you can contact Rackham, the Financial Aid Office, or the Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate Education.  Additional resources can be found by clicking on the "Other Funding Sources" tab located above.
