Welcome to Academic Mentoring Program (AMP) 2007-08!
AMP is a peer mentoring program designed to help students overcome academic and personal challenges in order to meet their goals.
Participants are recruited based on academic standing and level. Students are also recommended by program advisors, support staff and the Scholastic Standing Committee. Mentors are hired by the College and are trained in resource referral and goal setting. All are committed to helping students meet their goals. Ultimately, AMP's goal is to increase retention in the College of Engineering.
