LA-MAN Corporation has donated two Model 310 Extractor/Dryer Filtration Systems, two Replacement Service Kits, and four Pneugard Oilers to assist in the construction and testing of MaizeBlaze, the University of Michigan's fifth generation solar-powered electric vehicle.

LA-MAN's Model 310 Extractor/Dryer removes harmful moisture and contaminants from compressed air lines simply, economically and without an additional power supply. The result is clean, dry compresses air free of dirt, rust, oil or water drops that can disrupt air equipment operation. It comes standard with a 5-micron rating, with lower micron ratings available.

The Service Kits help maintain Extractor/Dryer performance. Routine filter replacement keeps compressed air systems running efficiently, and maintains optimum operational effectiveness. If filters are not changed regularly the air pressure entering air-operated equipment gradually decreases and, consequently, tools do not perform up to normal standards. In addition, clogged filters are ineffective at removing iol, water and contaminants.

LA-MAN's Pneugard Oiler improves the performance and service life of pneumatic tools by adding a lubricating oil mist to compressedair lines whenever the tool is in operation. It is installed with a flexible 4-6 foot air hose between it and the air tool. This eliminates the presence of vaporized oil in the exhaust outlet which can turn acidic and attack internal system components.
