   This is the third year of association with the University of Michigan Solar Car Team for the Alro Group. We initially became involved in 1996 when an emergency for large diameter aluminum "Hubs" were needed for the solar car wheels. Our partnership has grown ever since.

   Alro Group has supplied many of the aluminum, stainless and other metal goods to the solar car team from our branches located in Jackson and Lansing, Michigan as well as Indianapolis, Indiana.

   Much of the material supplied year-to-date, has been used to construct an on-site Composites curing oven, to assist the team in time and transportation cost savings.

   We at Alro wish the '99 "MaizeBlaze" crew great success in the "rayce" and in the future.
