MaizeBlaze left the starting line in Washington D.C. at 10:26am this morning under cloudy and rainy skies. We moved up 11 spaces to finish the day in 15th spot. On the day, we took 4:13:36 (hh:mm:ss) to finish today's 115 mile run in Charlottesville, VA at an average speed of 27.34 mph. The car ran smoothly with no breakdowns.

   The start was not without incident. Purdue had problems at the line, and could not leave at their designated time. Minnesota accidentally crashed into the back of their lead vehicle. There were no i njuries, although the nose of the car took some serious damage.
