The Graduate Society of Women Engineers (Grad-SWE) is a University of Michigan society focused on female graduate students in the College of Engineering. In the twenty-first century women are still considered a minority in the engineering fields and we are here to help them by educating the public about current issues pertaining to females in engineering, encouraging and helping more women to enter the engineering fields, and to support the ladies who have already started this challenging journey. To this end, Grad-SWE sponsors a variety of events throughout the year to help female students to find a social network, support, guidance and advice to succeed in graduate school.
