In 2008, the SHPE Conference was in Phoenix, Arizona. This year the conference will be October 28 - November 1, 2009 in Washington DC. At the conference SHPE members have the opportunity to network and interact with recruiters.

The 21st Annual HENAAC Awards Show & Conference will be held October 8, 9, 10, & 11, 2009 in Long Beach, CA. It includes workshops; a Career Fair; a Student Leadership Dinner; a Technical Summit; and a national awards show where individuals are honored with the year's HENAAC awards.
