Oct. 9-12, 2009 - We have a unique opportunity to go to Cedar Point FOR FREE, please read below if you're interested:

For those of you unfamiliar with Cedar Point, it has been voted the #1 Amusement Park in the world for the past 11 years. It is home to some of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world. So you may be wondering how we can go for free... it is actually a fundraiser that we're doing this semester. The park stays open on the weekends in October for Halloweekends and they need extra people to help run the park. We will have a brief 1.5 hr orientation on Friday October 9 at 7 pm, then we will have the rest of the night to enjoy the rides (the park remains open until midnight!) We will stay in lodging provided by Cedar Point and also work at the park on Saturday and Sunday (we will have free time on those days as well). If you can't stay the whole weekend that's not a problem, we may be able to arrange rides so you can arrive late or leave early! (If you can stay the whole weekend, that's awesome.) As another added incentive to participate, we've decided to waive the dues for anyone who can attend. If you have any questions or simply know that you want to go, email SGEeBoard@umich.edu. We need to have a final list by this Friday at 5 pm.

Recap:
- Go to Cedar Point for free the weekend of October 9
- Raise money for SGE
- Bond with fellow students
- No dues for those who attend
- Email SGEeBoard@umich.edu with questions, or if you plan on attending, then RSVP by 5 pm this Friday
