Welcome to the official website for the 2009 Pi Tau Sigma Convention at the University of Michigan hosted by Michigan Pi Rho.

When?
Friday, February 6, 2009 to Sunday, February 8, 2009

Where?

The Holiday Inn in Ann Arbor, various locations on the University of Michigan’s North (Engineering) campus, and the University of Michigan’s Central Campus

Why?

Delegates from approximately 70 universities gather at the host university each year. The convention begins with a series of tours through the university’s campus, in which the host chapter highlights the unique qualities of the mechanical engineering department.

The delegates discuss what their chapters do to sustain and promote themselves in themed breakout committees (Honors and Awards, Infrastructure, Vision, Finance, Convention Planning). Each committee presents best practices to the general assembly at the end of the national convention.

Speakers make up a good portion of the event. Also, the delegates receive the opportunity to network extensively at the national convention. The host school holds a career fair, a graduate school information session, and a panel on the second day of the event.
