II.  Misc Business
	-Eric D. mentions we need soas online access
	-Tony to check on soas signers to get this working
	-4 new members interested at new grad student event, plus one 
biomed via e-mail

III.  Events update
	a.  Choosing your advisor panel
		-already 4 people signed up!
		-have rooms	
		-tony to send out ads
	b.  Job talk seminar
		-April waiting on dates from Tom (last week in oct, 1st in 
nov?)
		-April to get back to tony at end of next week
	c.  Future Faculty Series
		-Eric D. sending more e-mails
		-no positive responses from faculty yet
		-Eric D to get back to tony by oct 8
	d.  Grad recruiting symposium
		-Tony to forward Mike N. e-mails to Eric J.
	e.  WISE science programs
		-Tony proposes idea of orienting sci fair mentors with how 
to encourage creativity
		-Tony will follow up with Papalambros and Fogler on 
methods
		-Everyone thought this was great idea
		
IV.  Budget update
	-Got all funding (6500) for all events on agenda, except ludicrous 
pi (deferred to winter)
	-Eric J to apply for UMEC/MSA funding in winter
	-Eric J to meet with Jen Wenger (OSA) during fall for coordination of recruitment, advertising, planning, etc.

V.  2008 Nat'l mtg
	-Send abstracts to Tony if you're going!
	-June 22-25 in Pittsburgh PA
	-If presenting, apply for Rackham Travel Grant
	-Some funding will come from our budget
	      -depends on total head count and who is attending student Division mtg.

VI.  Winter events calendar
	-Tony in charge of sci fair outreach and OSIA (with Diane)
	-Eric J on MLK cultural fair, Ludicrous Pi
	-Eric D on First Aid, CPR
