I.  Review of Fall events
    A.  Choosing Advisor
	-15 rsvps
	-3 attendees
	-may be because no reminder sent that day
	-timing could be earlier, before students choose
	-should coordinate with engineering orientation
	-Result: document of 10 things to consider when choosing
    B.  Future Faculty Series
	-50-60 Attendees
	-maybe up number of lecturers on panel
	-maybe chose some other people with more balanced experiences
	-Have more specific topic seminars like dealing with work life balance
	-Get people from Engineering Academy for the Thorneau Prof (jerry lynch o open)
	-Find out how many profs are members of asee
    C.  Acing the Academic interview
	-Around 50 attendees
	-Relevance and timing
	-Tom Lekher's Blog
	-Sent out the documents as well
    D.  Mentor Creativity Session for Science fair
	-Cancelled
	-Send an Asee group to do mentoring and budgeting
	-Special certificate for judging

II.  Member suggestions
     A. Claudia Torres can take over website, add new content

III.  Recruitment
      A.  Sign-in sheet with checkbox
      B.  Announcement at mtgs
      C.  Improve brochure with success stories
      D.  Agenda items for next time
      E.  Get Potential members to see the benefits of being involved
	  -networking
	  -like minded people
IV.  Winter Events
     A.  Science fair judges and mentors
	 -Mentor Wed 1-3pm, WISE organizes, 4 weeks in january, scarlett middle school
	 -Judge 1-2 nights in michigan
		-diane, jeff
     B.  MLK Cultural fair
	 -Wed. feb 20
	 -coordinating with Theta Tau
	 -More groups should submit proposals for funding
     C.  FF series for schools outside UM
	 -Jeff, Claudia, April, Diane
	 -Do it in march
     D.  First aid training
	 -will still occur
     E.  OSIA ceremony
	 -  Initial solicitation packet sent
	 -  Review committee forms in march
	 -  Meets in april
	 -  Need people for committee, instructurs, grads, undergrads
     F.  Finding Post-Doc session cancelled in winter.
