Sept. 4, 2008
Introduce New Executive Board
T-shirts
- Pass out pre-order sheet
- Tell about prices ($12 and $20 respectively)
Sign up sheets that need to be talked about:
- Energy Fest
- Central Campus: September 9 11:00-2:00 setup (9:00 am)
- North Campus: September 11 11:00-2:00 setup (9:00 am)
- UMDM
- UMDM raises money for Mott’s childrens hospital. It would be great if we could get involved.
- We already have 4 people who are involved, but it would be great if we could get quite a few more. It would make ANS look good and be for a great cause. If anyone else wants ANS to get involved with other stuff, please contact me.
- IM Sports
- Put down what sport you are interested in and we will try and get a team going.
Anouncements from Pam:
- Kick off seminar (October 30th) Kristine Svenick is an NRC Commissioner and Alumn. She will be speaking.
- Career Fair (October 31st).
- Resume Book (Send Pam your resume as soon as you can).
- Tech Day (Saturday, November 11th)

*PNNL(week of October 27) - Poster Conference - Pam wants volunteers to man the station all day. October 28th is set up for anyone in the department who is doing research can display it at the conference. The department is willing to foot $100 for researchers who make posters (reimbursement I guess).
Dues
On the way out grab a member ship form. $5 for Michigan, $10 for student branch. Pizza is free for all first meeting, but techinically we need the dues just to pay for pizza and other stuff.

GE Presentation
Adam Dow from GE described the many benefits of the Edison Program at GE
