Frequently Asked Questions:

What happens at a Corporate Information Session (CIS)?
A Corporate Information Session is a short information session where company representatives will tell you about their company, their jobs, the recruiting process and how you can get an interview. Company representatives often do a slide presentation or show a video and then open the floor for questions.

Can I bring my resume?
Yes. Companies will often accept resumes and possibly grant interviews if they have open slots the next day.

Is it informal or business dress?
Dress is informal. These are very casual sessions.

How do I find out what companies are coming?
The current schedule is available online and in the SWE office (1226 EECS).

How do I sign up for interviews with these companies?
SWE does not schedule any interviews. The best way to get an interview with the company of your choice is to sign up for HireME with the Engineering Career Resource Center.
