MRacing is a non-profit organization that relies entirely on support from sponsors to complete the Formula SAE project. All donations given to MRacing are tax deductible and used for educational purposes within the team. Support given to the team is necessary to design, build, test, compete, and learn from the racecar. Through teamwork and interaction with corporations and faculty, the MRacing members learn valuable life skills as they follow the racecar from conception to completion. We value donations of any kind and any quantity and try to keep a close relationship with all sponsors.

Helping the Leader's of Tomorrow

MRacing members are getting an education from one of the best schools in the world. Giving to the team helps intrinsically motivated students gain what it takes to build a quality automobile, run an organization, and be part of a successful team. The more resources our team has, the better our ability to understand all of these things. In addition, MRacing can use funds and services to explore new ideas, furthering the learning experience and improving our ability to do well in the Formula SAE competition.

Recruit the Best

It is very common for MRacing members to leave the University and go on to work for sponsors. Products and aid from companies are not forgotten by students as many develop a business relationship with sponsors after graduation. Sponsors are encouraged to seek out MRacing members for internship, co-op, or full-time positions.

Company Exposure

Formula SAE is a widely covered event with many web, newspaper and television media sites covering the competition. Lately, The Detroit Free Press , CNN, ESPN2, and Car and Driver have all covered the Formula SAE competition at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac , Michigan . Additionally, almost 5000 people compete in the competition and many more watch, all seeing your company's logo on the MRacing car. The racecar is shown during on-campus tours, career days, alumni presentations, and other philanthropic activities.

Tax Benefit

All donations to MRacing are tax deductible and can be counted towards an individual or organization's cumulative giving total. MRacing is classified under the University of Michigan as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
