October is National Ergonomics Month, and to celebrate, the U of M student chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) is hosting the second annual Bad Designs On Campus (BDOC) competition. During the month of October, any U of M student can submit a description of something on campus that they feel is designed poorly. The first- ($30), second- ($25) and third- ($20) best submissions will receive gift certificates. Furthermore, the winning submissions will be featured in a video promoting our chapter on the HFES national society page and our chapter will make an effort to install a practical solution to the winning (losing?) bad designs.
Thank you!
