Who We Are

The Girls in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, gEECS for short, was founded in 2002. We are a student-run organization dedicated to encourage the professional, academic, and social development of women in technology-related fields of study. Through a variety of social and professional events, we hope to contribute to an increase of women in EECS.

Open Officer Positions

We are looking for new officers! The open positions are Treasurer, Industry Relations, UMEC Representative, and Outreach Officer. Email geecs_officers@umich.edu if you are interested.

gEECS Resume CD

Every semester, gEECS puts together a Resume CD to hand out to the top companies in the industry. The deadline for Fall 2008's CD is September 16, 2008. More information will come closer to the date.
