ASME Member/Officer Point System Explanation
~Luncheons (approximately 9) 1 point per luncheon attended
~General Body Meetings (5)- 2 points per meeting attended
~Social Events (e.g. snacks at Dominick’s, Rock and Bowl etc)- 3 points per event
~Service Events (e.g. Ronald McDonald House, etc)- 5 points per event
~ASME Special Event (e.g. E-Week, Tech Day, etc)- 2 points per hour volunteered
~To obtain Active Member status and achieve an ASME Active Member Award, 15 points must be earned. Attendance will be kept at each meeting and event held.
~The member with the most points will be eligible for the Most Active ASME Member award and will be awarded a scholarship.
~A scholarship will also be given to the most active officer. This will be based on the above point system and a vote held by the officers.
~Ineligible if won the previous year.
