Directions to the University of Michigan and ASME Luncheon Room
Below is an area map of Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan.You will be speaking in room 2233 in the GG Brown building on North Campus. As you can see, there are a variety of ways to get there.If you are coming from the north or south via 23, it is best to get off at Plymouth Rd. following the signs toward Ann Arbor (you should pass the Holiday Inn on your left and just after that, Green Rd.). If you are using M-14, it is best to get off at Main St. (the exit sign will say Ann Arbor Downtown) just as you are about to cross or after you crossed (depending on which direction you’re coming from) the bridge over the Huron River.

From US-23, Plymouth Road
If you ’ve exited onto Plymouth Rd. from US-23, you’ll turn left onto Murfin (you’ll see the University of Michigan, North Campus sign). Turn left onto Hayward. The second parking lot is where you’ll want to enter. There will be visitor parking spots for you. We’ll provide you with a parking permit upon your arrival.

From M-14, Main Street
If you are coming from Main St., it is best to turn left onto Depot (just before the first light after you get off M-14).Depot will turn into a brick road for a stretch and then it will dead end into Fuller Rd. Turn left onto Fuller Rd.Continue down Fuller past the UM hospital (right side). You’ll come to an intersection just past a set of recreational fields (right side) ? turn left at the light (you’ll see a University of Michigan, North Campus sign).Straight ahead is Bonisteel and to the left is Murfin. Turn left onto Murfin.Turn right onto Hayward. The second parking lot on the right is the parking lot you want. There will be visitor parking spots.We’ll provide you with a parking permit upon your arrival.
