Omega Chi Epsilon is the National Chemical Engineering Honor Society. The society promotes high scholarship, encourages original investigation in Chemical Engineering, and recognizes the valuable traits of character, integrity, and leadership. Eligible students are invited to initiate into OXE in their junior or senior year. OXE provides free tutoring for sophomore ChE students as well as many social and community service events. The U of M chapter of AIChE co-sponsors many activities with OXE, such as a student-faculty mixer, volleyball and basketball competitions vs. AIChE, and frequent happy hours.
