Every department in the College of Engineering has a safety committee to help Principal Investigators, their Graduate students and Undergraduate students to learn safe procedures, participate in training classes, establish and follow Standard Operating Procedures and conduct research safely. At least one member of each department committee attends the monthly COESAFE meeting. Another is chosen to be a substitute to the COESAFE meeting whenever the regular member is unable to do so. The Department Chair has been bolded, and Department Substitutes are italicized, with their titles following their names. Any member of any departmental committee can be contacted if a faculty, student or staff person has a question on safety, training, or procedures.
