Scholarships
The global demand for engineers is increasing. In order to address this demand, the College is focused on educating the engineering leaders of tomorrow today. To continue to create a pool of exceptional engineering students, the College must enroll and retain a highly qualified, diverse student body. An essential component to the recruitment and retention of the best and brightest is a wide array of scholarship opportunities for students.
Benefits to Your Organization
Scholarship support provides an important opportunity for your organization to connect with undergraduate students.
- Goodwill
- Scholarship support exemplifies your organization's commitment to education.
- Improved recruiting efforts
- Scholarships provide your organization with an immediate connection to undergraduate students. By providing scholarships, your organization has the opportunity build relationships with student scholarship recipients via luncheons, internships, co-ops, and mentoring opportunities.
Types of Scholarship Support
- Endowed
- An endowed scholarship can be established with a gift of $150,000 or more. Funding commitments may be met over a five-year period. An endowed scholarship will exist in perpetuity. The scholarship can carry the name of your organization. Recipients are funded from the endowment earnings.
- Expendable
- An expendable scholarship can be established with gifts of $2,500 or more. Recipients are funded by the gift itself.
