Michigan Engineering Fund

Your support makes possible the exceptional resources, programs, and facilities that set Michigan Engineering apart as a leader. Gifts to the Michigan Engineering Fund enable the College to respond quickly to new opportunities and deliver the very best education. Future gifts to the Fund will continue to ensure that the opportunities available at the College are extraordinary. Below are a few examples of how the funds have been used in the recent past.

  • Scholarships
  • Laboratory Upgrades
Hands-on laboratory experience is key to a top-notch technical education.  The Michigan Engineering Fund provides critical support for new equipment and upgraded facilities.
  • New Ideas and Core Programs
The Michigan Engineering Fund gives the College the flexibility to back new ideas and programs that support the College's educational mission.  One example is the Office of Instructional Technology (IT), which was created with seed money from the Fund.  IT involves tools that enhance instruction within the classroom and resources (frequently web-based) that boost students' out-of-classroom learning.  Initial priorities for the new office include assisting faculty in incorporating IT into their courses, identifying the College's IT needs, and evaluating new technologies.
  • Exceptional Resources
The Fund supports state-of-the-art facilities and other resources that give Michigan Engineering a competitive advantage.
