Cynthia M. Redwine

Cynthia M. Redwine joined the University of Michigan College of Engineering as the Director of the Engineering Career Resource Center in the spring of 2000. Prior to her current assignment, Cynthia served for 12 years as Associate Director of Counseling and Placement Services at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Redwine worked for eighteen years at WSU, serving at various levels of responsibility during her tenure. While in Counseling and Placement Services she also served as Assistant Director of Student Employment and as a Placement Coordinator. In 1995 Redwine assumed the Interim Director of University Admissions position. She served in that capacity for approximately one year.

Dr. Redwine returned to Counseling and Placement Services in 1996 and acquired additional areas of responsibility supervising the personal counseling area. Her extensive supervisory experience includes, career development, campus recruiting and placement, personal counseling, student employment, and cooperative education.

Dr. Redwine holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology, and an MA in Guidance and Counseling, both from Wayne State University. She holds a State of Michigan Professional Career Counselor License. She received her BA in English Literature from Michigan State University.
