Our Purpose
(OE)2 is committed to facilitating educational outreach and engagement to support and encourage a vibrant and diverse engineering student body at Michigan.
(OE)2 is ongoing, grounded in the engineering research efforts of the college, to develop lasting relationships that increase public awareness regarding the importance and integrative nature of engineering.
Through inclusive partnerships and multiple means, we motivate, prepare, educate and support outstanding, qualified students to enter the engineering field.
To maintain relevance and immediacy, we continuously evaluate our efforts and develop new programs that adapt to the needs of our community.
It is the goal of (OE)2 to facilitate, coordinate and leverage these efforts to best serve the College and Community. As our programs evolve, they will provide a springboard from which increasingly more effective outreach and engagement programs can be constructed.
