Discussion on science, technology and Michigan's economy
EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT
DATE: 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Feb. 20, 2008
EVENT: This Is Not Your Dad's Engineering School: Science and Technology Driving Michigan's Economy, a panel discussion at the Wolverine Caucus meeting. The Wolverine Caucus is a group of U-M alumni working in and around the state government who meet with U-M experts regularly during the legislative session. Participating in this panel discussion will be: David Munson, the Robert J. Vlasic Dean of Engineering and Stephen Forrest, U-M vice president for research. The moderator will be Keith Cooley, director of the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth. They will discuss technologies that will help the environment and maintain solvency in the state of Michigan.
