Overview

Multidisciplinary Design (MD) Program and Minor

The MD Program helps connect students to projects that excite them, and offers real-world experience to gain wisdom beyond their years. These projects foster learning far beyond what the classroom experience alone can give. There are numerous student led, student-run organizations and teams within the College of Engineering and we encourage students, faculty and outside sponsors to create new project opportunities. The MD Program encourages projects that bring together a diverse mix of student and faculty backgrounds from across the university.

The MD Minor helps students integrate these exciting projects in to their academic program. It gives students an added edge with future employers and in applying to graduate school by being able to insert a tangible item to their transcript and resume that recognizes their significant project accomplishments.

Please review the attached brochure to get a top-level understanding of the MD Minor and its requirements.
