Derrick Scott serves as Director for the Multicultural Engineering Programs Office. In that capacity he is responsible for leading the effort to facilitate an educational environment within the College of Engineering that fosters academic excellence with multicultural understanding, and which contributes to the successful recruitment, retention, and graduation of students from all backgrounds. He is available for individual or group meetings with student engineering groups and societies, faculty, staff and corporate supporters.
Rutha Moore has been with the College of Engineering for more than thirty years. She is responsible for overall office operations, including administration, personnel, and budget. As a long term MEPO employee, she can answer many of your questions.

Mark Jones is responsible for transition programs and services that serve undergraduate students with an emphasis on 1st and 2nd year populations. The transition programs cover mentoring initiatives, academic coaching, and student groups support.
Lucie Howell is responsible for programs and services that serve the transfer population and organizing and directing the multicultural summer enrichment programs for middle and high school students in the Colleges pipeline programs.
