The Sweet Seat
The Sweet Seat is a specially designed reclining chair which requires minimal rear clearance between
the back of the chair and the wall. This single-seat chair can be placed much
closer to the wall in the upright position, saving considerable room space, and
then fully reclined without the need to move it away from the wall. With the
seat reclined, the normal extent of the reclined position is maintained thus the same comfort is
achieved with this space efficient reclining chair. The Sweet Seat was created
by students Evan Lowe, David Pekarek and Kevin Toller in winter 2003,
instructors: Professor Sridhar Kota and Teaching Assistant Charles Kim.
