The Spare Tire Retractor
The Spare Tire Retractor, specifically designed for a 2002 GMC Sierra, helps easily
retrieve a spare tire from beneath the vehicle. You no longer have to crawl
beneath the truck to retrieve a tire, which makes changing a tire a not so dirty
task. This device also improves the safety of the individual changing a tire;
retrieving the spare tire is quicker, minimizing the time spent on the side of
the road. The Spare Tire Retractor was created by students David Morse, Carrie
Peterson and Siddharth Vemuri in winter 2003,
instructors: Professor Sridhar Kota and Teaching Assistant Charles Kim.
