The Super Shelf
The Super Shelf brings forward and lowers cabinet shelves for better
access. In many kitchens cupboards
are placed high up and far back on walls making them difficult
to reach for elderly, physically challenged, even mid-sized
individuals. This device makes reaching for that glass on the
top shelf a much easier task. The Super Shelf was created by students Jermaine
Bridges, Sara Johnson, and Jeff Zelinski in fall 2002, instructors: Professor Sridhar Kota and
Teaching Assistant Charles Kim.
