The Happy Sleep Futon

The Happy Sleepy Futon converts from a couch to a bed without the need to move it away from the wall. Not having to move the futon away from the wall prevents injury to those moving the potentially heavy piece of furniture. It also prevents damage to the wall directly behind the futon. The Happy Sleepy Futon was created by students Alan Chu, Christy Conrad, and John Oleniczak in winter 2003, instructors: Professor Sridhar Kota and Teaching Assistant Charles Kim.
