The Dump-O-Matic

The Dump-O-Matic transports dirt and yard debris around the house.  To dump the contents of the common wheelbarrow, the entire assembly must be tipped which is strenuous even with smaller loads. The Dump-O-Matic requires less physical strength to empty out its contents since the whole device is not tipped, unlike the wheelbarrow. This device prevents back injuries and eases the wheelbarrow use with the elderly. The Dump-O-Matic was created by students Adam Jones, Steve Fowler and Sutopo Painan in fall 2002, instructors: Professor Sridhar Kota and Teaching Assistant Charles Kim.
