Overview: Founded in 1939, Nagoya University has flourished as one of the foremost national universities in Japan. With a teaching staff of 3,500 and approximately 16,500 students, of which over 1,000 are foreign students, the institution fosters an academic tradition of freedom and tolerance. Nagoya University is constantly reinventing itself in its quest to meet the challenges of the 21st century. A strong commitment to this quest is just one of the things that makes the university's engineering program among the best in the country.

Academic Year: October - July
Fall Term only: October - February
Spring Term only late April - July
NUSIP Summer Automotive Program - June/July

Language: Main instruction is in English.

Application Deadline:
Fall/Autumn Term: March 14, 2009

Spring Term: November 15, 2008

Eligibility: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.

Orientation: Admitted students are expected to attend a mandatory orientation session.
